Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Rocksbox is looking for a creative and data-driven marketing professional to join our Marketing team as Lifecycle Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for accelerating Rocksbox’s business by driving customer acquisition, retention and engagement across channels including email and SMS. You have a passion for testing and experimentation and using data to solve problems. This role is an important part of Rocksbox’s growth strategy and you’ll be working with a committed and motivated team. This role reports to the SVP of Marketing.

In this position, you will:

  • Map the customer lifecycle through the strategic execution of communication initiatives across Email and SMS channels, focusing on member acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Support key business goals through email strategy: acquisition, purchase conversion, member engagement
  • Owner of email KPI metrics
  • Own calendar, coordinate creative, and work cross-functionally with stakeholders to schedule messaging driving key business goals, including product/trend messaging, customer referral program, shipment engagement, lapsed customer and winback messaging, etc.
  • Building out email program through automation strategy and implementation
  • Develop and evolve email personalization strategy to drive email engagement metrics
  • Manage SMS calendar and execution of SMS, including copy & deployment
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders on SMS strategy, supporting acquisition, purchase conversion, and member engagement
  • Drive SMS testing
  • Own SMS opt-in metrics
  • Manage email deliverability & email domain monitoring
  • Manage Loyalty Program engagement
  • Drive earn and redeem behavior as part of loyalty program
  • Product Marketing: assist Product team with any CRM-related product launches or tests
  • Manage Associate Email Marketing Manager
  • Partner cross-functionally with Acquisition team, Brand Experience Team, Merchandising Team and Member Experience team

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing lifecycle campaigns in Iterable, MailChimp and/or other email marketing platforms, in addition to SMS
  • Experience with building and coding emails in-platform
  • Familiarity with loyalty programs a plus
  • Familiarity with other online marketing channels (Paid Social, Search, Affiliate, Influencer) a plus
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with deadline-driven projects and quick turnarounds
  • Analytical thinker – able to understand target metrics and goals
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Familiarity with Heap and Looker a plus
  • Familiarity with Movable Ink a plus
  • Familiarity with Talkable a plus
  • Proficient at Excel a plus
